Broken ) 310 US$; or below this price (2) Indian/Thai Parboiled Rice 10%
Sortexed FOB
Container packing in 50 kg double p.p. bags 307 US$ per metric ton;
(3) Parboiled Rice 5% Sortexed 303 US$ per metric ton; (4) 15% White Rice
Grade A Price FOB New Delhi, India bulk to Chittagong port in
Bangladesh is 303 US$ per metric Ton or Less in Price.

Below are the specific requirement that you need to know.

Requests: Tell us what products that you exactly have and the price per
metric ton including shipping and handling fees. (F.O.B) to
Chittagong Port, Bangladesh.

Tenders in sealed cover are invited from bonafide traders for supply
of 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) Metric Tons of Non-Basmati
Parboiled rice first delivery. Thereafter will be more?

The particulars of tender are furnished below:
a. Quantity : 25,000 (Twenty-five thousand) MT. Boiled Rice /
Parboiled Rice 15/20Broken; moisture not more than 12 to 14%
Minimum quantity to be offered is 25,000 (Twenty-five thousand) MT.
b. Basis : 40,000 (Forty thousand) MT. at Chittagong on CIF Liner Out at
both ends
(Cost of the Cargo, Insurance and Freight including Stevedoring are on
seller's account. Lighterage, if any, is also on seller's account).
Price per MT is to be quoted in US$ for Chittagong Port.
c. Mode of Payment : Through Letter of Credit (L/C).
d. Quality & specification: Details given in the Tender Schedule.
e. Country of Origin : India or Any country
f. Crop Year : 2007 or latest crop.
g. Packing & Marking : New Polypropylene (PP) oven bags of 50 Kg net.
The size of 50 Kg PP should be 24 ??36?, tare weight of empty bags should be
120 Grams minimum. The mouth of the bags has to be double stitched by
machine. The Seller shall arrange marking according to the requirements of
the Buyer.
h. Date of shipment : 30 (thirty) days from the date of signing of the
contract.
i. Earnest Money/Bid Bond: US$ 25,000 (Twenty five thousand) only for
offer of per 25,000 MT of Rice (In favor of Buyer).
j. Selling of tender schedule.: From 28/02/2008 to 02/03/2008 up to
17.00 Hrs. (In working days)
k. Place of selling of tender schedule and other terms & conditions:
Chittagong Port, Bangladesh ( Exact Address will be provided when Sign
the Contract)
l. Place of receiving tender: In the Tender Box to be kept in Chittagong Port,
Bangladesh (Exact address will be provided when Sign Contract)
m. Time and date of closing tender: 13.00 HRS. BST on 03/03/2008.
n. Time & date of opening : 14.00 HRS. BST on 03/03/2008 Tenderers or their
representatives may attend the same.
o. Validity of the offer : Up to 17.00 Hrs. BST on 23/03/2008
p. Other terms & conditions: Incomplete and conditional tender will not
be considered.
