We urgently would like to purchase Copper Tube for the
following specification and prefer Korean or Chinese or
Taiwanese origin. It can either be rolled and welded or
drawn or cast.
1. The name of articles : Copper Tube.
2. Specification
a) Shape of tube : Cylindrical
b) Tube length : 890mm
c) Out diameter : 2652mm
d) Wall thickness : 10mm
e) 0.1% proof stress : 255 MPA minimum
f) Ultimate tensile strength : 320MPa minimum
g) Modulus of elasticity in tension : 125 GPA minimum
h) Brinell hardness : 120 HB minimum (Using a 10mm diameter ball and
A load of 1000KGF)
i) Elongation on 5.65VS: 13% minimum
h) Electrical resistivity : Not greater than 0.02210 micro Ohm-meters
(78% IACS) at 20 degree C)
i) Thermal conductivity : Not less than 323 W/MK at 20 degree C.
j) Finish : Clean, sound and free from blow holes.
3. Application : For using of electrical generator.
4. Remarks
a) The chemical composition according to
BS6017:1981, Copper grade 101 but with all the strength properties as
detailed in our requirement specification.
b) Stainless steel 304 rings will be welded to each end of the copper
tube by conver team.
c) The certificate confirming the followings are required.
