Looking for a reliable Formulator or custom-made epoxy
Hardener compatible with Resin. The hardener must be
compatibly mixed with Resin to produce a Two Component
Epoxy Engineering Repair Compound for use as a general
purpose metal repair compound especially designed to
repair and fill damaged items based on concrete, carbon
steel, stainless steel, glass, plastics, ceramic and wood.
It can be used as a general all purpose adhesive for all
the above material types.
Physical Constants to achieve from the Activator:
The mixing ratio for the Hardener / Activator with Resin /
Base is: 1: 1 by volume (resin to hardener) , 1. 15: 1 by
weight (resin to hardener) . The appearance of the
Hardener is Light Grey Paste.
Drying & Cure times at 68-deg F

Shelf Life: Use within 5 years of purchase. Store in original
sealed containers at temperatures between 40deg F and 86degF.

Meets FDA CFR 21. 175. 300 requirement for food contact.
The Hardener / Activator after cured with the Resin,
should have Physical Properties as follows:
Flexural Strength: 8000psi or ASTM D790
Compressive Strength: 10000psi, ASTM D695
Tensile Shear Adhesion: 2500psi, ASTM D1002
