We want to replace a Conventional Lead Screw and Nut with
a suitable Ball Screw and Nut assembly in one of our Vertical
Turning and Boring Machines. For your ready reference drawing
for the existing Screw and Nut is attached. This is coming in the
vertical ram of the machine and approximate weight of the ram is 7 tones. This is to actuate feed and rapid traverse of the ram and the maximum speed of traverse is 500 mm per minute, nut is stationary and drive is to screw.
