Commodity: Ordinary Grey Portland cement for Construction
Grade 42. 5 R.
Cement Standards: South Africa Basic Standards
Country of Origin: At Seller (s) option after Buyers approval
Packing: Packing should be in 50 KG bags 4 ply suitable for
ocean freight palletized.
Payment Terms: Irrevocable, Operative,
Transferable, Paid by at sight and in favor of the Seller,
Revolving Documentary Letter of Credit, covering one
month quantity for each month.
Total Quantity: 200, 000 MT (Two Hundred Thousand Metric
Tones) . Monthly Shipments: 25, 000 MT (Twenty Five
Thousand Metric Tones) per Month, during 8 months.
Inspection: Quality, quantity and certificates are to be issued at
Loading Port by at Seller (s) cost.
Insurance: The seller will contract with an Insurance Company
Category 1A, insurance for 110% the value of merchandise,
covering all risks for total or partial loss, which the merchandise
may suffer to the destination port. Beneficiary shall be the Buyer (s) .
Delivery: CIF [Port of Durban & Port of Richards Bay;
both in South Africa
Contract Period: 8 (Twelve) consecutive months with
rollovers and extensions.
