The screw of the axial opening valves is manufactured
according to din 477.

2. Side opening screw sizes:

The side opening screw sizes is manufactured according to
din 477 as follows:

Direction of turn of the screw: Anti-clockwise
Diameter of large screw:21.8 mm
Tooth pitch:1.814 mm
Screw taper:55 degrees
Minimum length of screw:9 mm

4. General conditions:

1) The valves must be new, not renewed.
2) The valves are to be liable to assemble and disassemble to
change leakage preventives (seals).
3) The valves must have two internal leakage preventives
(seals), provided that they must be resistant to the
commercial butane gas and its compositions.
4) The metal of the valves must be brass alloy.
5) The valves are to be tight closed under a pressure not less
than 15 kgs/cm2.
6) The handle of the valves must be circular with waved
circumference to facilitate its grasp to turn by hand and
written on it the phrase (open-close) in Arabic as it is
illustrated in the geometric diagram attached.
