Soya bean meal in the north African markets. Generally
exports semi-finished products to the African markets.

At this very moment we are trying to buy CIF Tripoli
(Libya) 50000 tons of Feed Barley.

Specification of Feed Barley :

A- Physical Specifications :
1- Sound Loyal Merchantable Feed Barley.
2- Free from any live insects, pests and substantially free
from harmful dead insects.
3- Free from foreign harmful materials and dioxin.
4- It should have good odor and free from fermentation, not
lumpy or rotten.
5- Not treated with chemicals which are harmful to man and
animal.
6- Free from infestation of smut and agro-diseases.
7- Poisonous, harmful or foreign seeds must not exceed
(0,01%).
8- Poisonous Ergot must not exceed (0,01%) for each
consignment. In case Ergot germs, poisonous or harmful
seeds are present in the commodity all together must not
exceed (0,01%).
9- New crop of this year harvest.
10- Color white or slightly yellow.
11- Each consignment should have a certificate issued by
the concerned Phyto-sanitary authorities.

B- Analytical Specifications :
1- Specific Weight : MIN 62 Kg/HI
2- Percentage of sound complete mature grains : Min 90%.
3- Moisture : Max 14%.
4- Protein : Min 10%.
5- Fiber : Max 6%.
6- Ash : Max 3,5%.
7- Shriveled and damaged thin Barley grains and / or other
grains and / or broken kernels less than 2/3
of the kernel : Max 8%.
8- Sand & Impurities : Max 2%.
9- Soluble carbohydrate : Min 70%.

C- Tolerance & Allowances :
1- Excess of moisture up to Max (1%) accepted with 1:1
pro rata.
2- Deficiency of protein accepted up to max (2%) with
allowance of 1:2 basis i.e. in case of less 1%
protein would be reduced by 2% of each consignment.
3- Excess of shriveled grains and damaged and / or
impurities and / or other grains and / or broken kernels
accepted up to Max (3%) with allowance of 2:1 basis.
4- Deficiency of specific Weight up to Max 2% i.e. Min
60kg accepted with 1:1 pro rata.
5- Size of sieve is 2mm.
