REF.NO: IRI/HF/EERP/Truck MAY2005 Loan No: 4697 ?IRN

1. This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this
project that appeared in Development Business , ISSUE No. 617 Vol .26
of 31st Oct 2003 and is a re bidding of the Specific Procurement Notice
published in Development Business August 9, 2004.

2. The Islamic Republic of Iran has received a loan from the international
Bank for reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of Earthquake
Emergency Recovery Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this
loan to payment under the contract for supply of Dump Trucks.

3. The housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution now invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for following dump trucks:

and the technical 200 specification are provided in section VI & VII of the bidding

4. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedure
specified in the World Bank's Guidelines :
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries as Defined in the Guidelines. In this respect based on the
declared policy of Iran , Israel is considered as ineligible source of supply of goods
and services for this Bid.

5. Each lot shall be evaluated separately and contract awarded separately. the
bidder must bid for all quantities within each lot. .Bids offering partial quantities
